APRIL/MAY: Begin asking for letters of recommendation, minimum 3, ideally 4
JUNE (first week): Purchase Token and Start ERAS Application

JULY (first week/mid month): Programs can begin reviewing applications (usually ~July 15th)
AUGUST to OCTOBER: Interview Season! *All virtual as of 2022 (TBD 2023 season)

SEPTEMBER 28 – 12PM ET NRMP Ranking List Open

NICU Transport Elective - spend 1 month working with the NICU transport team and gaining hands on experience in neonatal resuscitation and NICU procedures. PGY2s and PGY3s only.
NICU Research / Faculty Mentor- All of our NICU faculty are involved in research or QI in one way or another. We have had multiple faculty serve as mentors for our resident research NICU related projects - Dr Nair (NICU fellowship director here at UB), Dr Handa and Dr Praveen to name a few.
