NICU education for residents is structured based on level of training and experience in the NICU. For each of your rotations, you will have specific learning objectives and procedure goals. Our NICU faculty and fellows will be facilitating teaching but if you haven't learned about a topic yet, ASK!
Use your rotation checklist throughout the rotation to keep track of your progress. Don't forget to about the end of rotation topic presentation and attending feedback session, which will all be part of your final evaluation for the rotation.
*Rotation checklists can be found in the tall cabinets of the resident workroom in the NICU (there is a sign on the cabinet). --> click here for help finding them!
SENIORS - Your topic presentation must be during your 2 weeks on DAY shift!
